When your children have leg cramps or some type of muscle ache, frozen 16oz plastic cola bottles can be good to roll down the muscle. This works especially well for sore, aching feet.
A bag of frozen peas or corn can also be used on sprains or strains and bruises to help reduce swelling. Alternate having the cold pack on for about 15 minutes, then off 15 minutes. If cold isn’t what you need, you can dampen a towel or cloth and heat it in the microwave - but be sure it’s not too hot!
This can also be a treat after a long day for yourself or your hubby!
